Land O’ Burns 10K road race

An SA Permit event conducted under UK Athletics Rules

Ayr Seaforth invite you to enter the Land O’ Burns 10K road race which will be held on Wednesday 21st May 2025 at 7.30pm.

  A redesigned, predominately traffic free course was introduced.in 2024. We are continuing with this 'out and back' course which follows a section of the old Butlins railway line incorporating the new Dunure road tunnel.The course is relatively flat, with some gentle inclines and descents, and is suitable for runners of all abilities.

This is a Scottish athletics licenced event and holds a SA/ UKA course certificate ensuring that the distance has been accurately measured. AS THIS EVENT IS RUN UNDER SCOTTISH ATHLETICS RULES, NO HEADPHONES ARE TO BE WORN DURING THE RACE

WHAT’S MY TIME will again be providing chip timing.

Closing date for entries is the  18th May 2025. No entries available on the day.

Minimum age 15 on race day

All numbers to be collected from registration at Seafield Pavillion, Old Racecourse, Ayr KA7 4DN from 5.30pm on the night.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

We are continuing to examine ways in which we can reduce our carbon footprint in the organisation of this race. To this end we have decided not to offer T shirts and medals again this year.

We have abandoned single use plastic bottles in favour of paper cups for the water station along the course and at the finish
