Organiser's Description
Join us on Saturday 7 September for a 77 mile / 123km cycle challenge from the Skye Bridge to the Kessock Bridge in Inverness, a stunning route through the Highlands, in support of the Elsie Normington Foundation, The Leanne Fund and Day 1 charities.
The Elsie Normington Foundation is a small local charity established to create opportunities for children and young adults with severe, profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex needs in the Highlands and Islands, so they can lead a rich social life, access facilities where their needs are met and make new friends. The Leanne Fund brings hope to those affected by Cystic Fibrosis through a range of social, practical, emotional and financial support services and Day 1 provides award-winning youth and child mentoring programmes to local vulnerable children and young people in the Highlands who are failing to thrive.
We ask all participants to raise a minimum of £100 with 100% of proceeds raised going straight to these worthwhile causes. There is also a £25 registration fee to take part in the cycle which, along with generous support from our sponsors, covers the cost of running the event and ensures maximum benefit goes straight to our chosen charities.

The health and safety of everyone involved is our number one priority. As a result we ask that all participants are able to ride at an average speed of 13mph/21kph in order to complete the route within 7 hours. Our aim is to be as inclusive as possible, but equally, we need to ensure those signed up are capable of safely completing the route.
