General

By entering the race, you agree to abide by these conditions of entry and any instructions given you by the organisers or officials of the Lasswade Cross Country. 

Race Timetable:  Under 11 Girls - 12.30 pm; Under 11 Boys - 12.35 pm; Under 13 Girls - 12.40pm;  Under 13 Boys - 12.50 pm;  Under 15 Girls - 1 pm;  Under 15 Boys - 1.10 pm; Under 17/20 Women - 1.30 pm.  The Senior Women’s Race is at 2 pm, and The Senior Men’s Race is at 2.30 pm,

Medical Condition

This race is over six miles for Senior Men, and 3.8 miles for Senior Women.   It is the responsibility of all participants to ensure that they are medically fit to participate in the race.

Course

Parkland, fields and gravel paths, which can be muddy at times.  The Men's race consists of 3 laps of the course, and the Women's race just over two laps.

Entry

The race has an entry limit of 200 per race.  Entry fees are non-refundable. The event will only be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances. Should the race be postponed for any reason, race fees will be held over for a place on the due date, however, if entrants are unable to participate on the revised date, they may apply for a refund of their entry fee. The organisers’ liabilities in respect of costs and expenses incurred by entrants as a result of cancellation or delay will solely be the entry fee paid to take part in the event.

Prizes for Men's race - First three, First Vet, First Vet 0/50, First Team of three, First Vet Team.

Prizes for Women's race - First three, First Vet, First Vet 0/45, First Team of three.

Please note:  teams will only be accepted for club teams that are registered with Scottish Athletics.

Race Numbers & Registration

Confirmation of entry will be sent beforehand and race numbers will be available for collection from Registration on the day.  Registration will be at Gorebridge Leisure Centre, Hunterfield Road, Gorebridge EH23 4TX and will be open from 10.30 am - 1pm for the Women's race, and from 10.30 am - 2 pm for the Men's race.
