Splash & Dash Beach Race - West Sands, St Andrews

Splash & Dash Beach Race will be held on Sunday 21st July. The race will start at 6.30pm

RACE ROUTE - This two-lap race will be held on the magnificent West Sands Beach at St Andrews. Starting and finishing at the Life Guards Beach Hut. The race distance is approximately 4 miles. The surface will be mostly on firm compact sand. There are no surprise hills but you will be delighted to know that at the end of each lap we have included a nice cooling water dip for your pleasure! You will get more than your feet wet so remember to bring a change of clothing! 

RACE HQ - Number pick-up, toilets & car parking at the Beach Ranger's Office, West Sands Road, St Andrews from 5:30pm. There are NO changing facilities so please come ready to run. Postcode for Sat-Nav is KY16 9XL

BLING! - ALL FINISHERS WILL RECEIVE A RACE MEDAL

PRIZES - 1st, 2nd & 3rd overall males and females. Also male & female 1st Over 40, 1st Over 50, 1st Over 60 & 1st over 70.

**WATER** - The race organiser is unable to provide any water. Please bring your own drinks. 

CHANGING FACILITIES - There will be no changing facilities. Please come ready to run.

BAGGAGE - There is no official baggage storage. Any baggage left at the start/finish area is left entirely at your own risk.

RACE RESULTS - Race results will be posted online after the race.

IMPORTANT - Under NO circumstances whatsoever should you run with another person's bib number. This is a strict medical requirement.

Please be respectful and considerate to all competitors, race officials, volunteers and members of the general public.

Our events are insured and permitted by the Governing Body Association of Running Clubs and are held Under ARC Rules.

ENTRY FEE : £11.00 

SORRY NO ENTRY FEE REFUNDS OR DEFFERALS - We will however allow number transfers up until 7 days before the date of the race. All transfer details should be arranged between the runners involved before notifying the Race Organiser of ALL CHANGES.
