Both runners and walkers are welcome to this fundraising event based in the village of Bocking. TRA permit number 6602.

This is a self navigation trail using a written route description which will be given to you on the day. There are no markings or marshalls. It is raising funds for Blackwater West District Guides - Essex International Jamboree 2024, in association with Mid Essex Casuals. 

Entry confirmation will be sent via the e-mail supplied upon sign-up. The price includes a sausage in a roll at the finish for each paid entry. Tea, coffee and cakes will be on sale at the finish. Trail Running Association/England Athletics members get a £2 discount on the £7 entry fee. 

Parking is at the Bowls Club/Bocking Sports Club. If you do park on the street please do so considerately. 

There will be no refunds for whatever reason apart from the race being cancelled. 

This is not a mass start event. You will be timed out and back in. The start time for the 6.4 mile is any time from 10am to 10.40am. The start time for the 2.4 mile is any time from 10.40am to 11am.
