Unfortunately due to the recent work to the Formartine and Buchan Way North of Newmachar Station we have had no choice but to cancel this year’s event. Please accept our apologies for the late notice and any inconvenience this may have caused. Hopefully we will see you next year at this great race.

Metro Aberdeen Dyce Half Marathon

DESCRIPTION

Along the Formartine and Buchan Way, starting at the Pitmedden Playing Field, Dyce, on an out and back course.

DATE

Sunday 11th August 2024, 10:00am

ENTRY FEE

£16(SAL) membership and £18 (Non SAL).

Entries will close on 9^th August or when the entry limit (150) is reached 

Please note Jog Scotland membership does not constitute SAL membership and as such does not qualify for the £2 reduction on entry fee only runners with a valid SA number qualify

JUNIORS RACES

This event will also incorporating free to enter Junior races;

 - 2 mile (14-16yrs)

 - 800 metres (11-13 years)

 - fun run for under 10s

FINISHERS INFORMATION

All finishers will receive a Bespoke Medal, Fierce Beer (Over 18s Only) and a selection snacks.

REFRESHMENTS

There will be water supplied on the route at stages, refreshments will be supplied after the race.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded for the 1st 3 finishers Males and Females. There will also be prizes for the first Male and female age category winners O/40/45/50/55/60/65/70/75/80

*the Age groups for vets start at 40 years old for men and women

REGISTRATION

Registration and Race numbers will be distributed on the day of the race the Scout Hut up to 15 minutes prior to start.

CHANGING AND TOILET FACILITIES

Toilet/Change facilities are available at the Dyce Boys club hut. Changing areas will be secured while the race is in progress, however the organisers accept no responsibility for loss of clothing or equipment.

There will be no refunds, however race entries can be transferred to another person up to midnight Wednesday 7th August 2024. Please e-mail Race Director with names of both runners.
