The Scottish Athletics Junior Championship Cornalees Hill Race – 15 June. The Championship is open to members of scottishathletics. The categories are U20 (defined as born 2005–2007), U17 (born 2008-2009), U15 (born 2010-2011), U13 (born 2012-2013) with separate male and female awards.

The Scottish Athletics Junior Hill Running League for 2024 has categories of U17, U15 and U13 (U13 do not score but can claim a momento if they finish the series). Please note the U20's category is not included and U20's are advised to enter the senior race.

All runner will start together on the trail just up from Eildon Mains.

Age group colours and race distance:

3k route for the U13 3k (Blue).

4 K route for U15 4k (Red). 

6k route  U17  (Green).

The red and the green route will be part of the Scottish Junior Hill running league. Entry will also be available on the day

Please note minimum age for the U13 blue route is 11 years old by 31st December 2024, this will not be part of the hill running league. Please note the U20's category is not included and U20's are advised to enter the senior race.

Gala Harriers will operate under Scottish Athletics guidance. There will be parking along the Bogle burn road.  Organisers recommend that traffic approach the race from Newtown St Boswells and avoid parking near the crematorium and cemetery as there may be a service on the day of the race.
