Signing On: 8:00 - 9:15am. Depart after signing on. Club opens for parking 7.30 am. Riders must finish by 7.00pm.

The 33rd edition of an iconic UK cycling event. A challenging 107km/66 mile ride at your own pace all on quiet roads and lanes in the beautiful Shropshire Hills National Landscape. No timings or race numbers, how you ride is up to you.  Route GPS file, sign-on and other details are notified to entrants in advance of the event.

Basic camping at the Rugby Club is available on the night of Saturday 7th only. Charges are £10 per person in a tent, £15 pp per person in a camper van, mobile home or caravan. There are toilets, showers and electricity supply in the clubhouse (24hr access) but no exterior electricity supply or waste disposal services for vehicles/tents. The Rugby Club does not allow dogs on its site.

Our entry limit for 2025 is 500 riders. The cost of the event remains at £25. This includes the route, food and drink at Registration and all three en-route refreshment stops (this includes a sandwich lunch), and completion certification.

Please note that when you enter you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive full event details, including a RideWithGPS route link and a route card, by email approximately one week before the event. Updated information can be found on our website, Facebook page or by contacting the organiser on our dedicated email account: full details of these are provided when you register.

Unless you specifically inform us otherwise, entrants' email addresses will be kept to notify you of future Highland Challenges, and for no other purpose.

Once you enter, we do not refund fees if you have to withdraw - your fee will count as a donation to Shropshire Wildlife Trust. However, we can defer your entry to the following year if you request by June 1st 2025. However, if we have to cancel the event for any reason, we will refund you your fee less nominal administrative costs.
