Tweed Valley Sportive - Saturday 20th September 2025

Welcome to The Tweed Valley Sportive 2025 (formerly The Tour of Tweeddale).

As with previous years we are offering 2 routes for you to choose from, The Classic and the all new The Challenge

The Classic : This 50 miler remains a popular choice for many.  Takes in the challenging Talla climb,  amazing countryside, and a great food stop at Cappercleuch by St Mary's Loch.

The Challenge : A brand new route of 100 miles and it's a toughie! Out from Peebles over Talla following the classic route but instead of heading directly back to Peebles it continues onto the Berry Bush, down to Selkirk and then follows the Old Stage Road to Clovenfords, Stow and Fountainhall - where you'll find your second fuel stop.  Refuelled you will return to Peebles via Heriot, The Pipers Grave, Innerleithen and finally head back to Peebles via Traquair.

Arrangements

Online entries close Saturday 13th of September.  No entries on the day. No riders under 16 (on day of the event)

Early Bird Entry cost is £30, until 20th Jul '25, which includes online admin charge

Full Entry Cost is £35 after this date

Registration will be at Neidpath Road Car Park, Peebles, which is adjacent to the start.

Registration opens at 7.30am, and closes at 8.45am. The last departure for The Challenge will be at 8.30am, and for The Classic by 9am.

Finish will be in Kingsmeadow Car Park, Peebles (just before Tweed Bridge). This will be signposted and marshalled.

Rider times will be provided, but are dependant on you stopping at well signposted checkpoints (and the finish!).

Please be aware there will be limited signage so use of the GPX download and/or map is highly recommended.

Snacks and drinks will be available at intervals on the course.

A "broom wagon" will sweep the course after the last rider.
