Organiser's Description
New 300km Event starting from Freuchie Fife for 2023, explore Highland Perthshire by day and Angus and Fife after Sundown.
Leaving Fife in Glen Tarkie the route takes you through Perth to Little Glenshee before following the Highland Boundary fault to the Sma Glen to enter the Highlands, Lunchtime in Aberfeldy is followed by the Climbs up Glen Goulandie, Bohespic and the Errochty Hairpins.
A brief respite from the climbing in Glen Garry allows for Tea before climbing out of Pitlochry over the Moulin Muir and Glen Isla to Forfar for Supper.
A final fling over Carrot Hill and through Dundee leads to the North Fife Coast Road and Newburgh before the final fling to Auchtermuchty and back to Freuchie.
Commerical Controls at Aberfeldy and Forfar, with Check points at Little Glenshee, Dalnamein and Carrot Hill.
Shops, Pubs and Restaurants in the gaps along the way.
