The Sirhowy Loop is a 6.66 mile multi terrain race.  

Back for its 2nd year, join us for the shorter, scenic challenging loop of the Sirhowy Challenge and the surrounding area.  

Please note: due to ongoing works, it is likely the route will change. Once the route has been confirmed, it will be shared on our social media pages and website.  

All participants must be over the age of 17 on race day. Entry fees are £10.00 for Welsh Athletics registered runners and £12.00 for non-affiliated runners. There is a small booking fee.   

UKA Race Licence applied for.  

All finishers will receive a drinks token.  

The race awards ceremony will be held at The Progressive Club, Ynysddu. 

There are prizes for the 1st Male and Female.  

Race HQ will be at the Ynysddu Hotel which is just a short walk to the start line.  

Toilet facilities are available at the Progressive Club, Ynysddu  

Entries close on 30 April  2025. There are just 200 places available, so don't miss out!  Race day information will be emailed to all participants before the race.  

Race numbers can be collected at the registration desk on race day.  

All running abilities are welcome however the course is undulating and unsuitable for wheelchair athletes. We will ask you for a predicted race time on registration, this is to help us plan locations and timing of our volunteers. 

Once entered there are no cancellations or deferrals. If you wish to transfer your place to another runner you can do so via your Entry Central login before 30 April 2025
