Scottish 5k Road Championship 

Part of the Scottish Athletics Road Champs Series for 2025

Start time 7.30pm

• Accurately measured 5km course.
• Flat traffic free riverside course, perfect and proven for FAST times.
• For the 2025 race there will be one mixed start.
• Medals to all finishers. 
• Trophies to 1st 3 M/W senior and 1st V/40M/W; V/50 M/W; V60M/W; V70M/W.
• SAL Championship medals for 1st 3 in following categories:
• Senior M/W; Masters M/W; Junior M/W;
• TEAMS of 3 in all the above categories.  A master or a junior can count in a senior team..
• 1st 3 Masters M/W at 0/50: O/60: O/70 (No team medals)
• Minimum age on race day 15.
• Under 17 not eligible for individual or team Junior medals.
• Limited changing in marquees. No showers. Portaloos on site
• Free parking is available, although it is limited so please car share wherever possible. You know that makes sense :-) Several Lothian buses go to Silverknowes, with a number 29 now stopping right at the race start.
• Water will be available at the finish. Please bring your own bottle/cup to minimise waste.
