INTRODUCTION:
In today’s world with its varied stresses and demands, developing better connections to our own mind and body is vital to maintain good health and longevity. Sound is a timeless tool that allows us to connect with our body, breath and mind – to release stresses from the body, to deepen our breath and also work with our mind to create stable and healthy emotional patterns. These experiences are truly a sonic massage designed to deeply free up resistance and tension from our bodies.
About Fiona
Fiona is passionate about sharing yoga with others to improve mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. She weaves mindfulness through her practice and teaching to enhance connection to the present moment and promote self-compassion. She enjoys using gravity with the breath to find lightness and relieve tension and has experience teaching accessible yoga for those with a wide range of support needs, as well as pre and postnatal yoga.
About Mark
Mark has been teaching Yoga for 13 years, but he has been a musician much longer! In the past few years Mark has interweaved both of his loves, Yoga and Music. Sound is a healing and deep reaching tool that can support a change in disposition. The sounds of singing bowls, chimes, dreamy guitars, harmonium etc will support letting go and truly relaxing.
About Dan:
Dan has a passion for well-being, recovery and community. Drawing from the timeless wisdom of yogic traditions, as well as his own lived-experience, he shares ideas and tools for meeting life with presence and an open heart. He loves connecting with people through immersive Yoga, meditation and participatory sound experiences; kirtan drum circels and ambient sound immersions.
