Cat Bells (Keswick) 'Wildswim & Walk'

Sunday 16th March. Meet 9.45am for a 10.00am start

Meet: Theatre by the Lake, Lakeside, Keswick, CA12 5DJ. This is a pay and display, with toilets and cafe.

Entry £25.00 *WALKERS - plus dippers - WELCOME :) 

On this wildswim & walk we will be walking to Cat Bells, a charismatic mini-mountain on one of the best routes in the North Lakes. After walking to the peak there'll then be a ramble along the wooded west side of Derwentwater which is one of the most picturesque shorelines in England. 

There will the option to dip in Derwentwater. You'll be sharing the walk and dip with a small group of like-minded dippers.

Plan for the experience lasting 4-5 hours in total with the walk approximately 12km. The walk does have elevation and uneven ground. 

You will need:- 

• Dip kit 
• Swim shoes crucial due to the rocky entry
• Warm drink / lunch
• Medication if relevant
• Walking boots
• Water proofs
• Rucksack ( shoulder bags not ideal)

Please note that the water temperature will be around 7 degrees so dress appropriately accordingly and note sturdy footwear with ankle support for the uneven trail paths.
