Organiser's Description
Two Mills (Wirral) is a local member group of the national cycling charity. We lead weekly cycle rides on Sunday. You are welcome to sign-up for those events here.
We try to help newcomers by grading our rides: A - challenging; B - moderate; C - easier; BEG - beginners welcome; SOC - social event. If you are thinking of joining us for the first time, please do visit our website for more information https://www.cyclinguk.org/local-groups/two-mills-wirral. Or contact us for a chat.
The route and meeting arrangements vary for each ride. Click on the links below to read more information before booking. On the day, your leader will introduce themselves and run through basic safety checks. Please remember that we are all volunteers. Our aim is to leave promptly at the agreed time.
You do not have to be a member of Cycling UK to try our rides up to three times as a guest. If you become a regular then we'd love you to join our national organisation www.cyclinguk.org. Members enjoy a range of benefits including third party insurance.
Make sure that your bike is roadworthy. Bring a spare inner tube, pump and tools in case of a puncture. It's a good idea to carry a drink and maybe waterproofs as we are out for the full day and weather conditions can change. We will stop for lunch trying to use facilities at a cafe or pub.
Please note that we are asking you to pre-register rather than just turn up to keep our numbers manageable. It is important that you do not attend our cycle rides if you have COVID symptoms or are required to isolate. You will be asked to confirm this before attending. Bring hand gel with you to use and face covering. We also ask who to contact in case of emergency whilst cycling with us.
Entries will close here 48 hours before the event date. We cannot accept entries on the day.
Once you have registered, you will receive an email from EntryCentral confirming that there is a place reserved for you on the ride. If we are FULL, you can join a limited waiting list and we will contact you if space becomes available.
Here is a schedule of upcoming rides. We will open each for bookings in the week before the date. We may offer more than one ride per Sunday.
