Dumfries Running Club
Organiser's Description
Dumfries Running Club is open to people from all walks of life - regardless of age, gender, race, disability, etc - and caters for those wishing to run for fitness to those running at international level. Everyone is welcome at any training night or session - regardless of pace or fitness.
We meet for club runs at Dumfries Sports Club, Nunholm Road, Dumfries on Mondays & Tuesdays at 6.20pm for a 6.30pm start.
Our trail running group meets on Wednesdays. Start times and locations are announced in advance on our Facebook page.
Speedwork sessions are held at the Crichton and the David Keswick Centre in Dumfries on Thursday evenings at 6.30pm.
The membership year runs from 1st March each year and the following membership options are available:
Standard membership - £30
Standard membership + use of showers at Nunholm - £45
Full Dumfries Sports Club member - £20 (further information about the sports club and how to join is available at https://dumfriessportsclub.co.uk/)
Student or U21 - free (proof of student status will be required)

New members
New members are invited to come along and try us out before deciding to join the club. Membership will usually be approved unless the committee is made aware of any reasons why someone should not be allowed to join. For more details, email membershipdrc@gmail.com
