The Dursley Peaks Race

A demanding off-road race The Dursley Peaks Challenge takes in some of Dursley’s most testing climbs, including Cam Peak, Cam Long Down, Uley Bury and Downham Hill, rewarding runners with dramatic and expansive views of the surrounding countryside.
The race is around 10.31 km long but with 318 m of climb, the equivalent of a category B fell race. If you like hilly races this is for you – so take your running to new heights! It is a very hilly race but runnable. Due to car parking restrictions and the course, numbers are restricted to 120.
Prizes for the winners and (depending on entries) for veterans in 5 year categories.
Parking is very limited for this event so if runners can car share, get a lift or if local walk up it would be greatly appreciated.
Race Headquarters are at; The Peak Academy, Drake Lane, Dursley Gloucester, GL11 5HD and offers toilets and changing. Dependent upon arrangements light refreshments may be available, details nearer the race day.
Entries are refundable (only through the club and not via Entry Central) before 17 October less a charge of £2 but may be exchanged free of charge up to 20.00 on entry closing day. In both cases contact us by emailing your name, and for exchange, the full details of the new runner to dursleyrunningclub@gmail.com
There will be a limited waiting list if and when entries are full.
