The Evesham Town 10K

Celebrating 17 years of Evesham Vale Running Club's Evesham Town 10K.  An accurate chip timed route around the streets, parks and riverside paths of historic and beautiful Evesham in Worcestershire.  The course has some unsealed sections but is suitable for ordinary running shoes.

The Race Village for the Evesham Town 10k is on the Crown Meadow with refreshments pre and post-race, registration from 7.30am and the race will also start and finish here.

Race Licence

The race is held under UK Athletic rules, and you must agree to observe these rules, the event rules and obey the instructions of marshals at all times. Runners must respect the Highway Code. For safety reasons, the use of earphones is strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification.

Race Numbers and Timing Chips

All entrants will need to collect their race number and timing chip on the morning of the race from Race Village on the Crown Meadow. The collection point will be open from 7.30 am and close promptly at 9.00am. Please make sure you arrive in plenty of time to collect your chip and race number.

Water

The race is at that time of the year where it can be very hot, please start the race well hydrated. There are two water stations on the course, one you will pass twice where water will be dispensed in composable cups. 

Supervised Baggage Storage 

Entrants will be able to store baggage in the Race Village on the Crown Meadow.

First Aid

First Aid will be available in the Race Village, prior to the start and until the last runner has completed the course. 

Prize Presentations 

Presentation of overall prizes will take place within the Race Village around 10.30am. Runners of any age may win the overall prizes, but each competitor will only be eligible for one prize. Please make every effort to attend the presentation if you have won a prize and to come and support the winners even if you have not.

Results

The results will be provided in both 'Gun' and individual runners chip time.  Each runner's results will be available to see in the Race Village shortly after finishing.
