The Balmore Gents Open Strokeplay, scheduled for Sunday 2nd June 2024, is very polular with visitors from Glasgow and Central Scotland. Situated slightly off the beaten track, the Balmore Golf Club has excellent parking facilities, a well stocked Professional shop, comfortable changing rooms, a well appointed bar area and splendid catering services.

The competition is open to gents who have reached the age of 18 on competition day.

When completing our Entry Form you will be offered four time-ranges within which we will allocate your actual Tee time.  You will also have the opportunity to nominate a friend or friends with whom you wish to play or have scheduled to play on an adjacent Tee time.

You will receive an initial email confirming you are placed on a "Wait-List" and at this stage no payment will have been taken from your card. The Competition Manager will allocate a suitable Tee Time, (he/she will contact you if there is any "difficulty" with your request), then approve the entry.  You will receive a second email to confirm payment has been taken and the entry is actioned together with confirmation of the Tee time you have been allocated.

We recommend you plan to arrive at least 40 minutes before your scheduled Tee time in order to allow yourself adequate time to park, assemble your equipment, check-in at the Club House, perhaps have a coffee and snack, change to play and get the feel of the excellent greens on the practice area before arriving on the first tee relaxed and ready to "shoot-low".
