Warminster Wheelbarrow Race.
Fancy running or being pushed down the street in front of Warminster Carnival with the crowds cheering you on.
This event is supporting Warminster Carnival.
A short 0.75 miles, down the road in Warminster, with the Carnival chasing your tail. Then catch you breath and watch the carnival go by. For a extra bit of fun there are 5 refreshment stops on the way ;-) One drink per team per refreshment stop. Stricktly over 18's.

PARKING
Parking is available around Warminster. Allow time to park as the town will be busy with the carnival, fair and race. Please be courteous to other competitors and to local residents. Please think about car sharing or walk if you are local.
START / FINISH
Race starts at 18:30 where Boreham Road meets Prestbury Drive, Warminster Wiltshire BA12 9JX. There will be a short briefing before the race for your safety. Please obey the instructions from the marshals at all times.
RESTRICTIONS
Warminster Wheelbarrow Race is open to everyone over the age of 18 year on the day of the race. Fancy dress is encouraged, the theme is pairs. All wheelbarrows must be in good condition. No drinking before the race. This is for everyones safety. Please collect your cups as they will be counted at the finish.
Places are limited to 50 teams, to avoid disappointment please book early and we look forward to seeing you there. Race entries are open till Thursday 24th October 2024 or will close earlier if the race limit is reached. There will be no entries on the day.
REGISTRATION
Registration Warminster Conservative Club, Prestbury House, 1 Prestbury Drive, Warminster, Wiltshire, BA12 9LB from 17:45 till 18:15 where you can collect your race number. There is no baggage area.
RACE NUMBERS
Your race number should be secured to the front of your top using safety pins. Your number must be clearly visible when you finish the race.

£7.50 per person (each team member must register)
