Hereford Triathlon Club Pool Swimming

General guidance:

The swimming sessions will take place at Hereford Leisure Pool on Tuesday nights (7.30 to 9pm coached) and Sunday afternoons (4.15 to 5.15pm open swim).  They are for members only and numbers are limited.   

For our members aged 18 or younger, we need written permission from your parent or guardian to say that you are able to attend the sessions. An email is fine. 

Your details will be stored securely in accordance with data protection regulations. 

We will have 6 single lanes containing up to 5 swimmers each. Overtaking is allowed but we won’t be stopping at the end as a group. The coaches will stop you one by one to give feedback. 

Under 18s should be escorted to pool side or a meeting point by a parent or guardian. 

Bookings and payment will be done online and in advance via Entry Central for both the Tuesday and Sunday sessions. When you book you’ll be asked for your pod colour on the form. Please use these colours for your 400m CSS time (hard training pace):

Sub 6 minutes - red

6 to 6:30 - purple

6:30 to 7 - pink

7 to 7:30 - maroon

7:30 to 8 - green

8 to 8:30 - blue

8:30 to 9 - orange 

9 to 10 - yellow

Plus 10 minutes - gold
