The Musselburgh Festival 10K returns on Saturday 19th July 2025.  

The Musselburgh Festival 10K starts at 10.30am.  

After the 10k race, there will be a 1K children's Fun Run.

All races are part of the Musselburgh Festival Races, which are organised by Musselburgh & District AC. All are suitable for anyone taking part in a running event for the first time.  

All entrants for the 10K race must be aged 16 years of age or older on race day.  

The 10K race will be run under UK Athletics Rules and is a scottishathletics Permit Event.  

Online entries for the 10k race made in advance of Thursday 19 June can purchase a t-shirt for £6. Entries made after that date will have no option to purchase a t-shirt.

The 10k race will be chip timed. Timing chips and numbers must be collected by entrants on the day at the event registration desk (situated within the pavilion at Loretto School Playing Fields), which will be open from 9.30am.  

The 10K race and 1K Fun Run will start and finish at Loretto School Playing Fields. The entrance is at the corner of New Street and the River Esk just by the footbridge.  

The 10K race is on a flat course, made up of paths and tracks. The1K Fun Run is on grass.
