The Murder Mile is a one mile race and one of the toughest uphill miles in the country

The  course record is 7mins.49 seconds held by Jacob Tasker of Ogmore Phoenix Runners

All participants must be over the age of 11 on race day with entry fees of £5 for Welsh Athletics Affiliated runners and £7 for Non Affiliated runners. . There is a small booking charge.  UKA Race Licence applied for 

All finishers will receive a cold beer at the finish(age appropriate)

Race HQ and registration will be at Pen Rhiwarwydd farm where the finish line is situated   Parking and baggage storage available.

The race awards ceremony will be held at The Church Inn Mynyddislwyn

There are prizes of for 1st Male and Female and 1st Junior Male and Junior Female who must be 16 or under on race day

There is a cash prize of £30 for breaking the course record.

Entries close on 1st of August at 9pm  There are just 400 places available so don't miss out!  Race day information will be emmaailed out to all participants before the race. Collect your race numbers at the registration desk.

All running abilities are welcome however the course is undulating and unsuitable for wheelchair athletes. We will ask you for a predicted race time on registration, this is to help us plan locations and timing of our volunteers. If you anticipate bei. Please let us now at registration.

Once entered there are no cancellations or deferrals. If you wish to transfer your place to another runner you can do so via your Entry Central login before Aug 1st 2024
