Join us for Islwyn Running Club's Scenic 7! The Scenic 7 is a breathtaking 7-mile race through the stunning Cwmcarn Forest Drive, in aid of Caerphilly Autistic Spectrum Service (CASS). This event promises a perfect blend of challenging elevation, spectacular views, and a supportive community atmosphere. 

The Scenic 7 is designed to showcase the natural beauty of Cwmcarn Forest Drive while providing a rewarding challenge for runners of all levels. The course features gentle slopes, and a few steeper climbs that will test your endurance and determination. 

By participating, you'll not only enjoy a fantastic race but also contribute to a meaningful cause, supporting CASS in their mission to support children and young people diagnosed with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. 

There are prizes for: 

Entry fees are £5.00 for Affiliated Runners and £7.00 for Non-Affiliated Runners. There is a small booking charge. The UKA Race Licence has been applied for.   

All running abilities welcome, the course is undulating and unsuitable for wheelchair athletes.  

Race numbers can be collected from the registration desk. Entries on the day will also be available. 

Once entered there are no cancellations or deferrals. If you wish to transfer your place to another runner you can do so via your Entry Central login before 21st August 2024.  Online entries close at 9.00pm on Tuesday 20th August.
