Mini Fun Run 

The mini fun run is part of the Eyemouth Twilight 5K Run, sponsored by Giacopazzi's Gelato. The event is organised by Eyemouth Development Trust a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation - SCIO (SC045880) and will take place on Friday 29th of August 2025.

Distance 50m 

ENTRY FEE/DONATION    £ 2 per child

REGISTRATION

Register and pay online.

Registration on the night from 5 pm - We will only require your child's name and they can be check marked off as attending and be provided with a sticker.

15 minutes before the start of your child's mini fun run age group, you will be called to the assembly point, they will then be walked to the start point. 

Parents/ Guardians can walk or run with them - but they MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Remember it is not a race, it's the taking part that matters :-)

All child participants will be given a complimentary ice cream after their race, a goodie bag and a medal.

  ● Please remember that the start/finish area is beside a harbour -so please look after your children. They are your responsibility at all times.

  ● If you are running with your child, please be mindful of other children in front in case they fall or you trip them up, this is a FUN RUN, not a RACE!

RACE DATE
The Eyemouth Twilight 5K Jog/Run and Scott's Mini Fun Runs are organised by Eyemouth Development Trust a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation - SCIO (SC045880) and will take place on Friday 29th  of August 2025 at 8pm. Juniors are classified as 11 years and over, and 16 years and younger.

REGISTRATION AND START TIMES

• Registration will be outside Giacopazzi's Gelato on Harbour Road which is next to start and finish.
• Registration for race numbers can be collected from 5.00-7.30 pm for the 5k

No refunds will be given.  No sign-up can be done on the day - Online entries only.

If there are spaces available in the lead-up to the event, late entries may be accepted. Please check the Facebook page for more information. Cost to enter will be sold at the increased cost of £18.00 per adult per entry and £ 8.00 per junior ( 11- 16 years old ).

THE COURSE
The course starts at Giacopazzi's Gelato and goes along Harbour Road, up to Victoria Road, joining the pavement at the car park, then turning left up towards the High School and then continuing on following the new road around the golf course.  At the golf club road you will turn left and continue for around 600m before doubling back on the same road and heading back down and turning left back onto the new road continuing around the golf course.  The crossing junctions are at The Avenue, Stebbings Rise, and the car park on the new road. They will all be marshalled. At the harbour there is a red bridge crossing onto  the middle pier please be careful as lifeboat use it if they get a callout.  On the middle pier please be careful as it is a working harbour, then please listen to the marshals before heading back along Harbour Road to finish at Giacopazzi's Gelato.

Please do not interrupt the marshals and timekeepers at the finish line.

• The route map will be posted at registration.
• The route is well-signposted, but it takes place on some public roads.  It does incorporate public footpaths with crossing points at road junctions.
• There will be a number of voluntary marshals at every event junction.

Ensuring the safety of all participants is our top priority. Competitors must follow the marshal's instructions as a condition of entry. Additionally, all runners and walkers must provide emergency contact details on the back of their race numbers. To maintain safety, the use of headphones is strictly prohibited
