INTROS TO COLD WATER SWIMS/DIPS

Saturday at Dock 9 - 3rd May (8-9.15am)

Sunday at Boundary - 4th May (10-11.15am)

Uswim organises 'INTRO'S' to build up swimmers and dippers knowledge and confidence to swim in cold openwater. This will then help swimmers take these skills to an open water event or a wild dip in a tarn.

The intro's are a mixture of land and water tuition covering topics such as essential safety, correct kit, pre/post swim preparation, proven health benefits and swim tips from knowledgable coaches.

Young people are welcome to attend but their ability to swim in cold water must be carefully assessed and vouched for by guardians prior to booking.

Limited places. Cost: £60.00*

*Includes silicone swim cap, wetsuit hire, earplugs, complimentary hot drinks and expert tuition.
