Race start: 10:00 am

This is our 38th year of hosting this event, and we are very pleased to announce that the start will again be on the stunning Bennerley Viaduct. Upon starting, you will run along the Bennerley Viaduct, turning right onto the Erewash Canal for a short period before turning right again and heading towards Winston Windmill. You'll then continue towards Moorgreen Colts Football Club, where you will run up the road, take a left, and head back down towards the Bridlepath, turning right to follow the Nottingham Canal. Upon reaching the top of the canal path at Anchor Lane, you will take a left along the path and over the bridge, then turn left back onto the Erewash Canal. From there, you will follow the Erewash Canal all the way back to the Bennerley Viaduct to run across the finish line.

The race will start as a mass start at 10:00am.

We ask runners, once on the Bennerley Viaduct to assemble in your predicted time area. There will be time zone signs along the Bennerley Viaduct to help assist you with this.

The conditions underfoot vary from canal paths, gravel paths, un-kept trails to smooth pavement. 

Entry numbers are limited to 300 participants, and it will not be possible to enter on the day.

Transfers: Entries are non-refundable and non-deferrable. You can transfer your entry online via entry central to another runner by following the transfer process up until 14th September 2025. An admin charge will be applied.
