Monumental Challenge 

3rd Leg of the 2024 Fochabers Triple Challenge

Spey Runners are proud to host the return of the Monumental Challenge. Starting and finishing at the foot of the Monster Trails, this challenging 5+ mile trail race passes the monument at the top of the picturesque Whiteash Hill.

Online - £16 (SA affiliated) £18 (Non affiliated) plus Entry Central processing fee
Online entries will close at midnight on 23th October 2024
STRICTLY NO ENTRIES OR TRANSFERS ON THE DAY

Registration: 9:00-10:30am, at Christies Garden Centre, Fochabers.

Start Time:  The race will begin at 11.00am. Start and finish lines will be near the forestry commission car park, Winding Walks / Monster Trails

General Information:
There will be marshals at various points throughout the course. Please treat them with respect and follow ALL marshal instructions carefully. They are in place primarily for your safety.

Ample parking will be available free of charge at Christies Garden Centre, approximately a 10 minute walk to the start line

Prizes for 1st male and female in the Senior, Vet40, Vet50 categories. Race timing will be done manually (no chip timing).
For those who have entered all 3 races of the Fochabers Triple Challenge, finish times will also be tranfserred to the overall series standings.

There will be one water station on course at or around the half way point.

Organised by Spey Runners under UK Athletics rules. The 10k event is open to runners aged 16 years or older.

The Fochabers Triple Challenge is a 3-race series consisting of the Gordon Castle 10k, Jean Carr hill race, and the Monumental Challenge.
