The Moray Marathon

Starting point and registration : Morriston Track, Morriston Playing Fields, Haugh Road, Elgin, IV30 1AW

The Moray Marathon is a Scottish Athletics approved, qualifying marathon course all on road.  The event is not a closed road race.  

The Moray Marathon is a Scottish Athletics approved event.  Scottish Athletics has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the race which under the Terms and Conditions stipulate that:

• Runners taking part in the Marathon must be over 18 years old on race day.
• The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
• Running with buggies or pets is not permitted.
• Headphones must be bone conducting headphones. 
• No "on the day" entries are permitted.  
• 7 hour cut-off (anyone who believes they will finish over 5 and a half hours, please email as you will be in the first wave at 7am to receive maximum support)

Medals. Basic Free Refreshments at finish.

No bib transfers or deferrals this year.  No refunds will be given unless the race is cancelled.

There are changing facilities & toilets at the start & finish. Additionally, any Sport Aberdeen, Hi-Life Highland, Moray Fit Life and any Leisurelink members have access to the leisure centre facilities near the track.

The Chilled 20

Registration/Bib Collection : Morriston Track, Morriston Playing Fields, Haugh Road, Elgin, IV30 1AW. Saturday 12th April 4-7pm, Sunday 13th April 6:15am-7:10am. 

Bus Pick Up- Moray Leisure Centre Car Park 7:15am, Leaves 7:30am

The Chilled 20 Mile Race is a Scottish Athletics approved course all on road.  The event is not a closed road race. The race begins at mile 6.2 of the Moray Marathon route in Roseisle and joins the marathoners 10km into their race! You will race to the same finish line as the marathoners back at Morriston Running Track.

• 5 hour cut-off. There will be no support on course after 5 hours, and marshalls are withdrawn at cut off times around the course to accomodate a 5 hour cut off.

Medals for every finisher.

Awards for Top 3 Males, and Top 3 Females. Awards given on GUN TIME not CHIP TIME so please align yourself accordingly at the start line.
