Organiser's Description

Stilton Striders Running Club are proud to host the 2024 Stilton7.

This race is a closed race and only open to the members of clubs that are part of the LRRL.

Members of LRRL clubs who do not have a current individual registration with England Athletics must pay the unaffiliated rate.

This 7 mile race forms part of the Leicestershire Road Running League (LRRL) and is open to members of Leicestershire clubs who are affiliated to the LRRL and are 16 years of age and above on race day.

The race date is Sunday 14th April 2024 and start time is 10.30am.

The route is a two lap course and will be signed and supported with marshals along the course.

Registration is at Holwell Sports and Social club, 41 Welby Road, Asfordby Hill, Melton Mowbray, LE14 3RD.

Parking is kindly provided by Holwell Works, Welby Road, Asfordby Hill, Melton Mowbray, LE14 3RE. PLEASE do car share where possible. There will be signs to follow on race day and also marshals advising where the parking is. Once you are parked up please follow the signs to the Registration area which follows a path to the Holwell Sports and Social Club and avoids walking along the road.

There will be toilets situated outside The Stute and also some available in the building.

Water will be provided after lap one and at the end of the race. Refreshments are available to buy from The Stute.

For safety reasons please do not wear headphones including bone conductor type during the race. Please check Facebook and emails nearer the time of the race for any changes that may affect the race.

Maximum number is 550 entries.

Pricing is £8 for affiliated members and £10 for non affiliated members.
