The Wee County Harriers is a running club based in and around Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. The Club was formed in 1999 by a group of local running enthusiasts who wanted to train together and encourage each other to enjoy running and achieve personal goals. At present, we have over 200 members of all abilities and ages (8 year olds to 70 somethings). Full details are available on the club website www.weecountyharriers.co.uk
Individual membership costs for 2024 are:
- Adult (age 17 & over): £25.00
- Juniors (age 8 to 16): £15.00
New members are always welcome. Being a member gives you the opportunity to train with like minded individuals and build friendships in a safe and secure environment. All training sessions are led by our qualified coaches. A warm welcome is always assured regardless of fitness, so please feel free to come along and try for yourself.
- Adult training is at 6:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Junior training is at 4:45pm on Mondays
Membership runs until 31st December each year, and does not auto-renew. Members who have not paid will be removed from the list of current members until payment is received and should not register for any race under the Wee County Harriers name or run in the club's colours until their subscriptions are brought up to date.
