Fun multi-lap marathon (and half marathon) event raising funds for our fantastic Worcester-based charities:

The race is on Sunday, 6th July 2025 at Old Elizabethans Cricket Club, Worcester with various options of off-road fun around a combination of grass, wooded trails and tarmac (2.62 miles per lap):

• Solo marathon: Ten laps for the full marathon distance
• Solo half marathon: Five laps in total
• Pairs (relay) marathon: Cover the full marathon distance - 10 laps between each runner
• Teams of five (relay) marathon: Cover the full marathon distance - 10 laps between each runner
• Kids Wild Mile race: One mile kids fun run

Snazzy bespoke medal and goody bag for all finishers. Prizes for fastest marathon times, best fancy dress and fastest lap. Entry is £16 ​per person for affiliated runners (£18 ​unaffiliated). There are no booking fees/charges for entering online.

Wild Mile: Also taking place is the one mile Wild Mile​ kid’s race. Entry is £3.50 (enter online or on the day). Medal for all finishers (parental supervision advised for anyone under 9 years old).

Fancy Dress: This year’s fancy dress theme is 'Beasts of the past '. Fancy dress is optional but we hope people enter into the spirit of this event.

Parking and Facilities: On-site parking available (please car share where possible). There will be a bar open and ice cream van. Picnics are welcomed.

Race entry limited to 200 and entries will close once this level is reached. Number pick up on the day from 8am (nothing will be sent out in the post).

The race will start at 9:30am. with the ‘Wild Mile’ starting at 9am. Any important updates will be added on this page, but you can also discuss the race and stay up to date on the BPJ Facebook group.

Frequently asked questions

How do I enter everyone in my team or my partner as a pair? You can still use the traditional paper form along with a cheque, but the best way is to enter online through this page. If entering as a pair or team, each person will need to be entered individually. Each of you can do this separately, or one person can add each person as long as they have their details by adding each entry to the basket.

Can team members or pairs run together? No, only one person can be on the course at one time.

As a pair, can one person run more laps than the other? Yes, as long as complete 10 laps between you, it doesn't matter how you split the laps. This can be a good option for marathon training, where one completes 8 laps (20.96 miles), the other 2 laps (5.24 miles).

A team member has pulled out, what now? You can replace members of your team or your partner (if entering as a pair). Just let us know at number pick up on the day, so we have everyone's correct details. There are no refunds once entered.

What results will be published? Will they go on Power of 10? Solo entries will be recorded on Power of 10 and Run Britain Rankings with the marathon finish time. Relay events are not compatible with these sites, so won't be recorded. Full results will be added to this page as soon as possible after the event.
